Chapter Nine
Even at two inches shorter and I would estimate twenty pounds lighterâthough that could be all in those massive tittiesâI still manage to flop an unconscious Holly over my shoulder and make my way out the side lot of her apartment complex without even breaking a sweat.
I may not be much of a runner, though Iâve never really had the need to, but I can dead lift pretty fucking well. Although, once I get to the parking lot, we have a whole new set of problems.
I spot the subtle blink on the underside of Hollyâs car. Yeah, it could just be a tracker, but it could also be a bomb. Some of these other guys really donât care how big of a spectacle they make. So even though I snatched her keys, I guess we get to be creative with my crotch rocket.
âSeven, do a sweep on the bike.â
After a second, he reports in my ear quickly.
âYouâve got a bug, but nothing lethal. Iâll let it track you for a block and then demagnetize it so it falls off and they think itâs faulty equipment. Be careful Candy. I canât see anything, but they can probably see you.â
âGreat. No pressure or anything.â
Seven doesnât respond. Instead he lets me focus on delicately maneuvering Hollyâs body so that it slides down the front of me a little once I am straddling the bike. I hadnât planned to knock her out and kidnap her, but time is of the essence here.
Once her body is nestled on the seat in front of me, I press her head against my shoulder to brace her body. Working carefully, I detach the crossbody strap from the duffle bag and wrap it around both of our waists before clipping it. The thing barely fits around us even with me sucking it in, but it will have to do.
With that keeping Hollyâs body against mine, I shove my arms through the tiny handles left on the duffle and throw it across my back like a bookbag.
This is about to be the most uncomfortable ride yet.
I carefully direct us through the lots and out of the alley. Choosing to navigate through the darkened streets off the main strip to easily see any tails, I make a left. After a block or two, Sevenâs voice rings through the coms again.
âTracker is now detached. We are cleared here. I will meet you at the next point. Get rid of your com, but Candy Cane⦠be safe ok? I canât lose you.â His sincere words make my tongue feel heavy, but I manage to squeak out a quick response.
âDonât die.â
âLove you too, Candy Cane.â He adds with a snort before the line goes dead. When I reach the next stop sign, I pull the bud from my ear and toss it in the sewer drain. Reaching into my back pocket as delicately as possible, I snatch out my phone and toss it down as well, before taking a right.
The next five minutes pass uneventfully.
